Telangana Today is an English-language daily newspaper launched in Hyderabad on 15 December 2016. It is published by Telangana Publications Pvt. Ltd., which also publishes the Telugu daily Namasthe Telangana, launched in June 2011 at Telangana Bhavan, the headquarters of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (now Bharat Rashtra Samithi). K. Srinivas Reddy is its editor.Sources:1Wikipedia: Telangana Today, Wikipedia (source, opens in a new tab)2Wikipedia: Namasthe Telangana, Wikipedia (source, opens in a new tab)

Wikipedia, citing Hindustan Times and Firstpost reports from May 2016, says the publisher is owned by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the BRS founder and former chief minister of Telangana. When the paper launched, Newslaundry reported that Namasthe Telangana's proprietor was close to Rao, and quoted editor K. Srinivas Reddy: "KCR does not directly own the newspaper but yes, the tag is there." Namasthe Telangana's managing director, Joginapally Santosh Kumar, is a BRS general secretary and was a BRS member of the Rajya Sabha from 2018 to 2024.Sources:1Wikipedia: Telangana Today, Wikipedia (source, opens in a new tab)3Wikipedia: Joginapally Santosh Kumar, Wikipedia (source, opens in a new tab)4Newslaundry: Is Telangana Today a set up for KCR's Telangana tomorrow?, Newslaundry, 5 September 2016 (source, opens in a new tab)
